The book is a primer for those starting to learn control system design. The content of the book is unique in the sense that control system design can be studied through practical experience by using an inexpensive control experimental kit based on recently popular open source Arduino hardware. By purchasing a low cost experimental kit and using the contents of this book, it is possible for the reader to actually create their own control target with electrical circuits and mechanical structure, and experience controlling it by using their own controllers. Contrary to most conventional theory books, which only explain theory and describe the process of implementing it on an embedded system, the basics of control theory and model-based development through real experience can be learned from this unique book.

The experimental kit
includes necessary components and explanation about how to assemble the kit for three different experiments to learn the control system design: speed control (introductory level), position control (basic level), and Ball & Beam (applied level), which are all introduced in the book “Control System Design: Getting Started with Arduino and Matlab”.
Theory and experiments, tailored to the levels from basic to applied can be learned by this hands-on self-study kit of control system design and model-based development. Using the open source hardware Arduino and generic parts frees your mind for new ideas to develop other applications and experiments.

MATLAB, Simulink, Arduino are NOT included!
Kit import to France has been rejected by France customs, we don't ship to France.
